The Church in Wales has several training courses which members of the URC may find helpful. The only course that has a bit of a Church in Wales (CiW) “flavour” is the Faculties, Permissions & Building Contracts session. However, the other parts are quite general. Details

 Wales Synod is in dire financial trouble.  So much so that at Synod Meeting the stark question was put: Is Wales Synod viable?  A Reserves Policy to meet winding-up costs should the National Synod of Wales be declared insolvent was agreed.  If Wales Synod fails financially, churches would be split between neighbouring English URC synods and the distinctive national identity of Wales Synod would be lost.
