Synod Elders

The Synod has a team of Synod Elders who act as a pastoral link between the Synod and churches in each geographical region of Wales.

As a council of the Synod they have responsibility for a number of matters relating to local churches such as deployment of ministers and local mission and ministry review. In some of the regions the Synod elders call together representatives from local churches for consultation or to enable mutual support between congregations. The Synod Elders meet together four or five times a year. The Synod moderator chairs this meeting.
